De Functionals
Crossdockmedia rack
is een combinatie van een tijdschriftenrek en een oplader voor de iPad.
Dick Van Hoff ontwierp dit elegante media rack voor Functionals.
De vorm en het notenhout doen denken aan de meer traditionele Nederlandse tijdschrift rekken, maar de witte aluminium voet is stevig geworteld in het heden. Van Hoff’s sluwe boodschap hier is dat “antieke” vormen van communicatie zoals kranten en tijdschriften en de nieuwe media , de draagbare kiosk in de vorm van een Ipad , vreedzaam naast elkaar kunnen [be-]staan.
