Afgelopen week heb ik, met veel plezier, een gastblog geschreven 
voor het veel gelezen 30smagazine blog over MoBA13 Shoes.
De Moba | Mode Biennale in Arnhem bestaat sinds 2005 en heeft dit jaar Lidewij Edelkoort als curator.

Louise van 30smagazine heeft een gastblog over Rotterdam met veel tips voor designshops en leuke buurtjes: 5-design-hotspots-in-rotterdam voor mijn blog geschreven. Deze kun je hier lezen.
Dit weekend ben ik naar het North Sea Jazz festival 2013 gegaan en ben als citytrip- en designliefhebber Louise’s tips natuurlijk gaan bekijken. 

In de Zwaanshals kwam ik een schoenenwinkel tegen, waar deze twee blogs samen kwamen! Shoe store: MNDS Designershoes! 

O.a de schoenen van UnitedNude kwam ik ook op de MoBA13 tegen.
Dus mocht je nog naar Rotterdam gaan :
neem de Top 5 Design Hotspots mee en ga ook vooral bij MNDS kijken.

 5-design hotspots in Rotterdam

Last week I did a guest blog, with great pleasure,
for the widely read blog 30smagazine about MoBA13 Shoes.
The Moba | Arnhem Fashion Biennale exists since 2005 
and this year has curator Li Edelkoort on board.

Louise from 30smagazine has written a guest blog for my blog about Rotterdam, with many tips for design shops and nice neighborhoods: 5-design-hotspots-in-rotterdam. This can be read here.


This weekend I went to the North Sea Jazz festival 2013 and as a citytrip and design lover I had to checkout Louise’s Rotterdam tips.

At the ” Zwaanshals” street in Rotterdam I came across a shoe store, where these two blogs came together! Shoe store: MNDS Designershoes!


For example they sell the United Nude shoes I saw at the MoBA13.
So if you go to Rotterdam:
Take the Top 5 Design Hotspots and make sure you stop at MNDS.

Heb je de laatste trend op het gebied van vazen al gespot?

Spotted the latest trend in the field of vases already?





Deze prachtige vaas zag ik op de stand bij Linteloo op Inside Design afgelopen oktober.

Ze zijn van piadesign en ze zijn wat mij betreft echt bijzonder mooi! Kijk echt even op haar site! 
Dat wil je niet missen! 
This beautiful vase I saw at the Linteloo house on Inside Design in Amsterdam  last October.

They are from piadesign and I think they are really very beautiful!

De vaas hierboven is de  ” Two halves ” vaas is van Pols Potten.
The vase above is the “Two halves” vase from Pols Potten.

Wat opvalt zijn de verschillende delen van de vaas, al dan niet van verschillende materialen of kleuren.
Hella Jongerius is er natuurlijk jaren geleden al mee begonnen met de “Long Neck and Groove Bottles” uit 2000, maar het lijkt alsof het nu pas opgepikt wordt..
Ik vind het in ieder geval een mooie ontwikkeling.

What is striking are the different parts of the vase, may or may not be of different materials or colors.
Hella Jongerius offcourse started this theme years ago with the “Long Neck and Groove Bottles” in 2000, but it seems to be picked up just now…..
I think it is in any case a very nice development.

3D Printed Food | Janne Kyttannen | Via MOCOLOCO

Nou dat lijkt me wel wat:  Je eigen ontworpen pasta of noodles of….eigenlijk alles kan !Tenminste als je ontwerper Janne Kyttannen moet geloven. Het ziet er in iedergeval wel spectaculair uit!
Meer kun je vinden via MOCOLOCO.

Well: I think I like this! Your own designed pasta or noodles …. or …. anything goes! Designer Janne Kyttannen thinks this is the near futere. At least it looks spectacular!

Eetinspiratie RAW @ De culinaire werkplaats

Binnen een paar dagen barst de fashionweek los in Amsterdam. 
Tijdens dit event op 12 – 13 – 14 juli 2012 heeft
de culinaire werkplaats 5 gerechtjes gemaakt die de nieuwe wereldwijde trends verbeelden op modegebied.
De trends zijn geïnterpreteerd qua vorm, kleur en textuur 
in de 5 thema’s : earth, unique,unfinished, naturel en native.
